The Role
Your new role will see you as our main quality creator and editor for the Eneba Hub our news and blog site for everything gaming. You’ll grow the experience of the team and create guidelines for both manual and AI content for our team of editors. In a changing environment we need someone who is able to oversee and eradicate both AI and human created mistakes, to ensure the team performs to the highest level creating amazing content for our users. You’ll also get a great opportunity to help senior editors grow in management experience and help them turn into our leads of the future.
Responsibilities
- Edit and lead the editorial guidelines for all Hub content & content verticals.
- Ensure quality control within the editorial team is being achieved through editorial guidelines, management of the editorial team and documented tracking of successes & failures within editorial team.
- Create guidelines for editing of AI content, including feedback to both editors and creators of AI content generation tools to ensure better quality first and final drafts.
- Mentor senior editors into the team to eventually take leadership roles within the team / company through the use of task delegations, career development plans and consistent feedback.
- Approving the design, style, tone, and appropriateness of our publications for both manual and AI content creation with conversion, SEO and UX in focus.
- Lead modification of content on Google Docs and regular tracking of consistent issues to feedback and prevent recurring issues in new first-draft content, ensuring this as standard practice in the editorial team.
- Ensure all content and headlines are optimized for organic search and reflect SEO best practices for Google Search.
- Lead the charge on creative content for Google News to become a viable traffic and revenue generation funnel.
Requirements
Necessary
- Proven experience in the role of an editor
- Proven experience of leading an editorial team
- AI Automation experience
- Exceptional English writing ability for long-form and short-form content
- Possess outstanding writing, editing and creative skills
- Possess an exceptional attention to detail
Preferred
- Portfolio of previous editorial projects
- Claude Enterprise experience
€30,000 – €40,000 a year
