Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced SEO and Website Manager to enhance search engine rankings, manage WordPress websites, and provide technical support. This role requires someone who can work independently, bring creative ideas to the table, and proactively improve the client’s digital presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEO optimization, WordPress management, and Google Business Profile administration.

Client Overview

Our client operates two established healthcare businesses in Sydney: a physiotherapy clinic and a larger allied health practice. Both practices maintain active websites and require ongoing digital marketing support to improve online visibility and manage their web presence.

Schedule Monday – Friday, Flexible within client’s business hours | Australian Eastern Time

Responsibilities

  • Optimize website SEO to improve search engine rankings and online visibility
  • Manage and maintain WordPress websites hosted on HostPapa, including troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring sites remain online
  • Create and optimize background pages with relevant keywords to enhance search performance
  • Manage Google Business Profile and ensure proper integration with websites
  • Research competitor websites within the healthcare industry and propose creative improvements and additions
  • Create and manage social media content for Facebook and Instagram platforms
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance website design and functionality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly to minimize downtime

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in SEO and digital marketing
  • Proven expertise managing WordPress websites and resolving technical issues
  • Strong understanding of Google Business Profile management and integration
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative
  • Excellent communication skills

Nice-to-Have Requirements

  • Experience working with healthcare or allied health industry websites
  • Experience creating social media content for business pages
  • Familiarity with website design improvements and user experience optimization
  • Knowledge of tools like Shutterstock or similar stock image platforms
