Summary

You’ll be the face and voice of Deel for our clients, both internally and externally. In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for migrating customers from companies that Deel has acquired, to the Deel platform and operational processes. You will serve as our client’s trusted advisor by Project Managing these migrations, providing strategic guidance during the onboarding phase on operational and product-related issues. Simultaneously, you will be an internal advocate for clients with Deel by championing new products and capabilities to facilitate the expansion of each client’s business with Deel. You will facilitate on-time onboarding through project management of all stakeholders involved including regular status reporting, task tracking and resource management. This is a client facing role requiring high levels of organisation, strong customer facing skills and the ability to navigate complexity and change management with ease.

Responsibilities 

  • Setup Project plans including key deliverable dates using applicable tools for managing the projects.
  • Oversee regular customer status meetings and status reporting.
  • Direct and assist with Data migrations from acquired company systems to Deel including data reconciliation, validation and other QA gates.
  • Manage tasks that have dependencies on other teams within Deel, ensuring that client deadlines are met.
  • Helping your teammates with escalations and day-to-day questions on processes and Deel products.
  • Taking additional responsibilities to drive more complex projects, and driving process and product improvements to impact wider teams.
  • Setting up customers to success in a timely manner through becoming expert in Deel products through orientation, training and assisting with client-side Change Management.
  • Assist the wider team in developing appropriate materials to help clients navigate the project and associated business change.
  • Problem solve Client’s issues and proactively advocate for Client’s success.
  • Partner with internal teams, including Sales, Support, Operations, Product, and Engineering, to deliver the best customer experience.
  • Suggesting and implementing ideas for optimizing customer onboarding workflows through process improvements and product automation. Lead key initiatives and internal projects.

Qualifications

  • At least 2-5 years experience in a Customer Onboarding or Customer Success role supporting a B2B SaaS product.
  • Solid understanding of the managed Payroll domain including key concepts within payroll. You should be able to “talk payroll” with customer contacts, with ease and confidence.
  • Ability to learn and understand systems so that immediate support can be provided to clients or internal colleagues as needed
  • Comfortable working with large data sets across different data domains with working knowledge of data transformation techniques and defining requirements
  • Focused, action-oriented, and always anticipating next steps: a natural project manager
  • High attention to detail and can design an organized, effective onboarding plan and schedule for clients.
  • Enjoy teaching others, be it a customer or a colleague.
  • Customer obsessed and have significant experience building customer relationships.
  • Team player, and enjoy working on a diverse team.
  • Driven, think on your feet, and thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation, and verbal formats to customers and team members.

  • Our salary range reflects gross base salary. For commercial roles with commission eligibility, this figure represents On-Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and target commission.
  • Salary ranges are quoted in USD as a consistent global reference. Your offer will be localized to your country’s currency using a market-aligned conversion.
  • Final pay is based on objective, job-related criteria including experience, skills, and location.
  • We don’t ask about salary history. Offers are based on the role and what you bring to it.
