Webtopia is a small, nimble agency – extremely specialised in D2C ecommerce advertising – that punches above our weight through process efficiencies, smart working and a deep understanding of Facebook, Google and Instagram advertising in our industry niche – to create big results, fast. We work with exciting, independent direct to consumer brands, many ethical and sustainable.

The role we are recruiting for is a Senior Campaign Manager (media buyer) for our growing team. We would like someone on an European time zone ideally and we offer flexible working options.  Webtopia has a warm, friendly and fun culture supportive of family life and commitments.

You will be responsible for planning, developing and managing clients’ strategy and digital campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Tiktok as well as to deliver agreed client scope effectively and in a timely manner.

In addition, you  are responsible for building and managing relationships with existing and potential clients to help them further achieve their digital marketing goals and grow revenue for Webtopia.co and to actively seek further marketing opportunities with existing clients.

The senior campaign manager role is one of relationship building and managing and ensuring all deliverables are implemented through understanding scopes, supporting and guiding the delivery teams. We expect the team members in this role to be well read and up-to-date in the latest industry tactics and strategies, to guide the rest of the CM team and to help the Head of Facebook Ads Strategy to deliver agency-wide projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Onboard new clients effectively and efficiently, understanding their KPIs and objectives, and setting expectations around company SLAs.
  • Create media strategies and media plans, primarily Paid Social
  • Build and optimise paid media campaigns – predominantly Paid Social, with daily checks and alterations as required to keep clients on track with their KPIs.
  • Define and maintain audience approaches, providing ongoing strategic recommendations and optimisation to clients.
  • Define and maintain industry-leading creative approaches, providing ongoing strategic recommendations and optimisation to clients.
  • Deliver insight led reports to clients to assist in evolving the media approach, providing strategic feedback and learnings from campaign activity
  • Monitor pacing and delivery to ensure campaigns are on track to deliver the allocated and agreed budget
  • Assist in ensuring you have all the creative assets required to give clients the best chance of success. This includes communicating your needs to the client/creative team, keeping on top of creative production for assets you are waiting for and launching and testing new creative assets as quickly as possible after you receive them.
  • Write ad copy or requesting ad copy from the creative team where required.
  • Work closely with our Head of Facebook Ads Strategy to report performance and deliver campaigns in line with performance targets
  • Monitor whole funnel performance for clients, not only through advertising campaign metrics but also client site metrics to ensure the client is set up optimally for success.
  • Build forecasts for clients as required, using past data and industry knowledge to keep the forecast as accurate as possible.
  • Performing account management responsibilities effectively, maintaining positive relationships as the front-facing representative of Webtopia and escalating campaign issues to the Head of Facebook Ads Strategy as required
  • Act as Strategic Partner to the client, understanding where you and Webtopia fit into delivering the client’s business goals, making recommendations on their overall marketing mix where appropriate, and challenging the client where necessary
  • Be a leader among the media buying team, sharing knowledge and success/failures of different tactics and strategies on an ongoing basis and in delivery of training.
  • Develop processes with the Head Of, in order to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the media buying team.
  • Lead and support business development projects with clarity in terms of expectations and deliverables.
  • Organise effectively the delegation of the tasks to your team – both in terms of the briefing methodology and content.
  • We expect you to perform an ongoing QA of any tasks delegated to team members, as you are the strategic lead of all your clients’ portfolio and, therefore, ultimately responsible for any work done on your respective clients.

What we need from you:

  • 3+ years of Facebook ads experience
  • 3+ years of eCommerce Marketing experience
  • Great with business systems such as Slack, Clickup, G-Suite
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Proactive approach and ability to work unsupervised
