Imunify Security team is looking for a Group Lead for IDS/IPS team.

Imunify360 Security Suite is a product of CloudLinux Inc., the maker of the #1 OS in security and stability for hosting providers. Imunify is an innovative security solution designed specifically for shared and VPS/Dedicated servers. The automated, easy-to-use solution with the six-layer approach to security delivers comprehensive and complete attack prevention. 

What is the job:

  • The group is focused on IDS/IPS based solutions and as the leader you will have a huge effect on the Imunify next generation security product.
  • Review and drive long term technical direction. Be involved in architecture, design, and code yourself. 
  • Build up the team, bring brilliant people and guide them to perfection utilizing your experience.   
  • The product technology stack is extremely wide and moves from low level C code, to cloud services AI algorithms and python expertise. 
  • Work to scope and plan key deliverables with business stakeholders and development teams to ensure successful delivery
  • Optimize the organizational structure for fast and reliable deliveries and to create a collaborative culture and environment 
  • Own the technical output of the IDS/IPS  team. Ensure high technical standards by implementing processes (technical design, code reviews, testing, and rollout) and strengthening department culture (hacker mentality, agility, and engineering excellence).
  • Review and drive long term technical direction.

Requirements

What you need: 

  • 10+ years of experience in software development in the Security field preferably ( Networking, cyber security methodologies, AppSec, Denial-of-service attacks, API threats, Application Firewall).
  • Deep domain knowledge and hands-on capabilities in Security areas. 
  • Extensive hands-on experience in Linux (experience with popular distributions such as CentOS and Debian).
  • Excellent leadership, collaborative management practices, communication and interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Foster team culture and practice of mentorship and collaboration
  • Collaborates with team to help determine and implement the values, vision and strategic goals (long and short term) of the company and executes change initiatives
