Job Description
Own the financial structure that takes a DTC wellness brand from $1 → $100 Million.
Are you the kind of operator who can model the cash flow at breakfast, fix the QuickBooks setup at noon, negotiate supplier terms in the afternoon, and spot $1,000 in wasted SaaS fees before dinner? If “yes,” keep reading.
THE BRAND
This early-stage, science-backed wellness brand is built around a hero product with category-defining potential. Customers love it because it works – no hype, no inflated claims.
The business is lean and founder-led, with a track record of building successful e-commerce brands. Execution is fast, direct, and focused on outcomes. Early traction in the U.S. has validated both product and positioning, and now the company is preparing to scale aggressively into Q4 and beyond.
It’s a remote-first operation that values autonomy, ownership, and sharp execution.
This is a full-time contractor role.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU
- Ownership from Day 1 – run the finance function end-to-end and shape the company’s financial future
- Remote-first flexibility – work from anywhere, collaborate globally, and manage your own schedule
- Impact that matters – this role is directly tied to the brand’s ability to scale and ultimately exit
- Growth opportunities – start lean, then expand responsibilities as the company scales
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
This is not a “reporting-only” role. You’ll be expected to continue building and optimizing financial models, get hands-on, and scale systems for growth. You will:
- Ensure capital and inventory are always aligned with growth targets by taking full ownership of cash flow and stock planning
- Guarantee accurate multi-currency and multi-entity bookkeeping by managing QuickBooks across U.S., Hong Kong, and other company structures.
- Keep the company exit-ready at all times by maintaining clean, structured, and audit-proof books
- Provide leadership with actionable insights by preparing accurate monthly reports that highlight risks and opportunities
- Reduce financial and legal risk by monitoring compliance, managing sales tax software and income tax thresholds, and coordinating effectively with external accountants
- Improve profitability by identifying unnecessary costs, eliminating inefficiencies, and ensuring capital is allocated effectively
- Enable long-term scalability by designing and implementing financial systems that increase efficiency, accuracy, and consistency as the company grows
WHO YOU ARE
- 3+ years in finance at a high-growth DTC eCommerce brand, with hands-on experience in cash flow and inventory planning
- QuickBooks expertise, with confidence managing multi-currency, multi-entity structures (U.S., Hong Kong, etc.)
- Proven track record of keeping books clean, accurate, and exit-ready under fast-scaling conditions
- Strong reporting skills – able to deliver clear, actionable insights that guide leadership decisions
- Cost optimization mindset – you spot inefficiencies and turn them into measurable savings
- Strategic and hands-on – equally comfortable with day-to-day bookkeeping and higher-level financial planning
- Hungry and long-term oriented – you want to help build a company, not just maintain one
RECRUITMENT PROCESS
- Screening call with Marta @ Prosana – align on expectations and experience
- Founder Interview – deep dive into culture, brand, and vision
- Test Assignment – solve real-life financial issue
- Final Interview
