The Team

Kraken is a market leader in one of today’s most innovative and rapidly growing industries. In our mission to accelerate the global adoption of cryptocurrencies, we understand that crypto isn’t straightforward for most people yet. This is where our support platforms play a key role – guiding users in their crypto journey and providing them with the right information every step of the journey. 

As our user base grows alongside our range of service offerings, the role of our support content is increasingly important in not only making our platform more accessible, but making the entire crypto space more within reach of mainstream audiences across the world. We are therefore seeking an experienced content writer to join our Client Content team and help drive an industry-leading experience through clear, concise and high quality, compelling and easy-to-understand content for users.

To be a successful CE Content Associate, you will be highly attentive-to-detail, advocating for quality and consistency across all content channels (including articles and chat replies). 

You should be a strategic thinker with a track record for project management and the ability to manage multiple large-scale content projects simultaneously.

The Opportunity

  • Help coordinate content updates on Support Centre articles
  • Project management of content updates focused on new product releases, product acquisitions, asset listings and more
  • Work closely with Localization Project Managers to develop and implement workflows for localization projects across various content areas
  • Act as a content ‘generalist’ and learn the ins and outs of our different channels (Support Center, Webforms and Chatbot)
  • Contribute to updating guidelines on content creation workflows for our team and other departments
  • Collaborate with product, design and engineering teams to develop and maintain support process automations, testing and quality assurance workflows
  • Identify and drive areas for improvement in regards to making content more accessible through formatting and other content types (e.g. images, videos, gifs, and more)

Skills you should HODL

  • 1+ year of content experience 
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills
  • Track record of successful content projects
  • Experience communicating and collaborating across various teams and stakeholders – including engineering, editors, designers, and management
  • Ability to adapt to the changing needs of clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to think like a non-technical user and understand the potential technical challenges that affect the overall user experience; must be able to think about a procedure or product and translate it into simple, easy-to-understand content
  • Comfortable working with and building relationships across different teams
  • Ability to work under deadlines and deliver results, to think innovatively, creatively and strategically, to multitask and change course of actions if necessary, to achieve desired results
  • Flexibility to work effectively with different time zones, occasionally involving high-stress scenarios

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with Sanity or other Content Management Systems is highly valued but not required
  • Intermediate knowledge in using Excel
  • Formal education in content creation, communication, writing or project management
