Your Responsibilities

  • Write guide articles per week in Screen Rant’s house style (following the requisite training and peer mentorship period). This will include fact-checking, formatting, linking, and image sourcing/very basic editing (sizing, brightness, etc.)
  • Brainstorm, pitch, and develop original content ideas
  • Accept and apply any/all feedback received by the editorial team
  • Communicate openly and actively with the editorial team

Experience and Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, English Literature, or a related field (asset)
  • Broad working knowledge of Video Games
  • 2+ years of experience working with a credible digital publication 
  • A broad working knowledge of the sector you’re applying for 
  • A quick learner with a strong sense of urgency and drive 
  • An excellent writer in the English language free of grammatical and spelling errors
  • The ability to write high quality articles with fast turnaround times 
  • Comfortable working in a fully remote environment
