WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Yodo1 is looking for an Applied AI Engineer to build production AI systems for complex, data-rich business workflows.

You will help build the intelligence layer behind the business: systems that understand live data, investigate problems, recommend actions and safely automate work that does not scale by hand. You will work across AI, backend and data engineering to turn promising agent capabilities into dependable tools people use to make real decisions.

WHAT WE EXPECT

You will:

• Design and evolve the data systems that turn fragmented revenue and event data into one trusted foundation.
• Develop and run checks that measure data quality, reconcile sources and catch regressions, failure modes and edge cases.
• Improve business decision-making through trusted metrics, experimentation and automated analysis.
• Investigate production failures and systematically improve pipeline robustness, latency and reliability.
• Build data products and feedback loops that give AI agents the context, tools and signals they need to investigate and act.
• Work closely with product, engineering and commercial teams to embed data and AI into high-value workflows.
• Help define what “good” looks like for systems making and automating complex business decisions end to end.

You must have:

• Have experience building or shipping machine learning or LLM-powered products.
• Are strong in Python and comfortable with modern ML tooling.
• Have built and operated production data systems using large, complex or event-level datasets.
• Think in terms of complete systems and business outcomes not only pipelines, models or individual technical components.
• Enjoy investigating messy production failures, finding their root causes and turning them into lasting improvements.

You might have:

• Experience with agent frameworks or tool-using LLM systems.
• Experience working with large, messy datasets or production logs.
• Experience with advertising technology, including mediation platforms, ad networks, DSPs or exchanges.
