 to share a little more about the role and our team! This role plays a crucial role in shaping our Doister lifecycle, from initial candidate engagement to elevating the workflows, systems and experience we are creating, as well as day to day collaboration with Doisters from around the world.

This role is a blend of talent acquisition and people operations, focusing on optimizing processes, implementing simple yet powerful solutions and creating a best-in-class Doister experience. We are aiming to hire at a . Although this is not a fully People Generalist role, there will be exposure and knowledge gained to areas outside of just talent and people operations, especially since we work in monthly squads across teams to meet our company quarterly goals.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Drive the full talent acquisition cycle for assigned roles, from sourcing and screening candidates to scheduling interviews and managing offer letters. This includes elevating our sourcing strategies to attract the world’s greatest talent, leveraging various platforms and networks.
  • Proactively source candidates, especially for business critical roles or roles that are hard to fill. 
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract diverse and qualified candidates, leveraging various platforms and networks.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs and ensure alignment on the job descriptions and shortlisted candidates. 
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives, including our LinkedIn page, webinars, podcasts and potential events. 
  • Utilize candidate, hiring manager and hiring team feedback, to continuously improve and iterate on our talent acquisition process. 
  • Onboard new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. From creating the onboarding project, ensuring all systems are ready and that the new hire is set up from success from the time they sign their offer. 
  • Own the employee experience interface. You serve as the primary point of contact for global team members, partnering with People leadership to transition manual support into automated, scalable self-service solutions.
  • Create and maintain our documentation. This is a core part of every role at Doist. 
  • Create and maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity across all our People Systems. 
  • Contribute to implementing various talent and people programs and initiatives that support our company culture, growth and values.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you are someone who is:

You have extensive knowledge and experience in talent acquisition as well as people operations, onboarding and first-line support to global team members. 
  • Resourceful: You enjoy adapting to different company stages and alongside the people and business, finding ways to align talent operations practices to that. You are also focused on opportunities instead of problems. 
  • Communicative: You are clear, concise and engaging. You thrive in an asynchronous environment, which requires a lot of independent working and thinking, while collaborating globally. 
  • Comfortable with Ambiguity: You are great at planning ahead but also pragmatic in the moment, able to quickly change course without becoming flustered when new information arises.

Our Process

We want to be as transparent as possible on what happens in the front and back end of hiring!

Submit your completed application by June 1st at 6pm UTC. This includes a resume or LinkedIn profile and thoughtful responses to all the application questions. Next, application screening takes place. We review every application to understand you motivation, skills, and experience. Once your application has been reviewed, you’ll receive a response regarding the status of your application. We might use AI to reduce fraudulent or deep-fake applications. 

This is followed by salary transparency & interview scheduling. We’ll calculate and share the salary range for your location. This will help early transparency and for you to evaluate if our salary benchmark matches your expectations. Next, you’ll be able to schedule a call with Nadia for your screening and role alignment interview.

The interview and assessment steps are as follow:

  1. Screening Call and Role-alignment interview with Nadia Vatalidis (Head of People).
  2. Panel Interview with a People peer and hiring partner with Andrew Gobran (People Business Partner) to review our ability to operate as a peer our People Team and one of Doist’s leaders will join this call. This is to establish what you would be like in terms of enablement and supporting hiring efforts alongside a non-People-team member.
  3. Paid Assessment Project. This will be your opportunity to showcase your role-specific skills, we don’t skip this step in any of our hiring. We have selected a few folks in and out of the People Team to evaluate this assessment, this is to ensure we have a diverse review panel and to reduce bias.
  4. Final interview which is directly to evaluate the Culture-contribution your bring to Doist with Amir Salihefendić (Chief Executive Officer).
  5. Offer to the successful hire!
