Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical, strategic, and performance driven Google Ads Manager & Performance Media Buyer to lead paid search and digital acquisition efforts across Google platforms.

This role is responsible for scaling ecommerce revenue, improving customer acquisition efficiency, and maximizing return on ad spend through data driven Google advertising strategies. The ideal candidate has strong expertise across Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube, and display campaigns with a proven track record managing profitable ecommerce advertising campaigns.

You will work closely with leadership, ecommerce, creative, and retention marketing teams to drive scalable growth while maintaining the elevated luxury positioning of the brand.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM PST 

Key Responsibilities

Google Ads Strategy & Campaign Management

  • Build, launch, and optimize Google Ads campaigns across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube, and Display
  • Manage full funnel acquisition and retargeting strategies
  • Scale profitable campaigns while maintaining target ROAS and customer acquisition costs
  • Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and competitive analysis
  • Optimize bidding strategies, budget allocation, and campaign structures
  • Monitor daily performance, pacing, attribution, and conversion trends

Ecommerce & Shopping Optimization

  • Manage and optimize Google Merchant Center product feeds
  • Improve Shopping campaign performance through feed optimization and segmentation
  • Collaborate with ecommerce teams to improve product titles, descriptions, and landing pages
  • Identify opportunities to increase conversion rates and average order value
  • Support product launches, seasonal promotions, and gifting campaigns

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report on key advertising and ecommerce KPIs including ROAS, CPA, MER, CTR, CPC, conversion rate, and revenue
  • Build weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights
  • Monitor attribution and tracking accuracy across platforms
  • Utilize Google Ads, GA4, Shopify, Triple Whale, Looker Studio, or similar analytics tools
  • Analyze customer acquisition trends and recommend growth opportunities

Creative & Landing Page Collaboration

  • Work with creative teams on high performing display and YouTube ad assets
  • Recommend testing strategies for ad copy, landing pages, and offers
  • Help improve onsite conversion and user experience
  • Develop new advertising angles and campaign initiatives based on performance data

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of hands on Google Ads management experience
  • Proven success managing ecommerce advertising campaigns
  • Strong expertise across Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and YouTube campaigns
  • Experience managing monthly ad budgets of $50,000-$500,000
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce attribution and conversion tracking
  • Experience with Google Merchant Center and product feed optimization
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Experience with Shopify ecommerce brands preferred
  • Experience with luxury, food, hospitality, or lifestyle brands is a plus
  • Highly organized, self motivated, and detail oriented
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
