What you will be doing

As the head of Growth and Partnerships, you will spearhead initiatives that drive user acquisition, partnerships, and revenue growth, establishing Quidax as a global leader in the crypto space. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create and execute growth strategies while forming strategic partnerships to expand Quidax’s ecosystem. Your focus will be on developing new markets, deepening existing relationships, and delivering outstanding results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Growth Strategy: Design, execute, and optimize comprehensive growth strategies across multiple channels, including digital marketing, organic growth, and referral programs to drive user acquisition and retention.
  • Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate, and manage key partnerships with external organizations, including fintech companies, crypto exchanges, payment processors, and influencers, to increase Quidax’s market penetration.
  • Revenue Growth: Lead the charge in driving revenue through strategic initiatives, including new product launches, geographic expansion, and collaboration with various industry players.
  • Market Expansion: Develop go-to-market strategies to enter new markets and drive adoption in untapped regions, particularly focusing on African markets and beyond.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize tools like Google Analytics, PostHog, and AppsFlyer to analyze user behavior and campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to scale efforts.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing growth and partnerships team to achieve aggressive business goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to align growth initiatives with product development and customer needs.

What your day-to-day looks like

  • Leading strategic meetings with internal teams to align on growth goals and partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborating with partners and stakeholders to foster key relationships and unlock new business opportunities.
  • Analyzing market trends and data to inform business decisions and growth tactics.
  • Exploring innovative ways to optimize user acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies.
  • Negotiating partnership deals and ensuring they align with Quidax’s overall business objectives.
  • Creating and presenting performance reports, showcasing growth metrics and partnership outcomes to the management team.
  • Leading cross-functional initiatives to drive customer growth, engagement, and retention.

Job requirements

What you need to have

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role in growth, partnerships, or business development within the cryptocurrency, fintech, or blockchain industry.
  • Strong track record of driving user acquisition, revenue growth, and successful partnerships.
  • Deep understanding of the crypto ecosystem, including exchanges, wallets, and the broader digital asset landscape.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to foster long-term relationships with strategic partners.
  • A passion for innovation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in English.

  • Experience in emerging or high-growth markets.
  • Strong network within the fintech or blockchain industry, especially in the crypto space.
  • Familiarity with local and international regulations governing cryptocurrency.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a knack for identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities.
  • Certifications or proven expertise in business strategy, growth hacking, or digital marketing.
