About Kapso

We’re a team of three making WhatsApp easier to build on. We’ve processed more than 100 million WhatsApp messages and grown organically to 40,000 developers. Now we’re building developer infrastructure for AI-first builders and their teams. WhatsApp is our starting point, and we’re thinking much bigger.

What you’ll do

• Own product work end to end: understand the problem, make the early product decisions with the founder and the team, build it, and improve it based on real use.
• Build new products while improving the infrastructure customers already depend on. Make APIs, developer tools, and interfaces that people and their agents can use without a meeting or a manual setup process.
• Talk to users, investigate problems, and turn what you learn into a better product. Reliability and documentation are part of the job.
• Build with AI. Every day.
• Automate our internal processes with AI so a small team can do more.

What we’re looking for

• You mostly care about building great things. You have opinions about what makes a product good, beyond whether the code works.
• You ship fast, make decisions under uncertainty, and follow through without someone managing every step.
• You use AI heavily to code and experiment with new tools. You also have the engineering fundamentals to understand, debug, and take responsibility for what ships.
• You have built and operated software used by real people. You care about the details, happy users, and fixing problems even when they fall outside your original task.
• You want a lot of ownership and very little bureaucracy.
• You’re looking to do the best work of your life.

Practical details

This is a remote role.

USD 5,200–9,400 gross per month + 0.25%–1% in stock options.

The final package will depend on experience, scope, and the balance between salary and stock options.
