Our mission is to make learning UX/UI Design accessible and enjoyable with live bootcamps and on-demand video lessons. Memorisely is fully bootstrapped and was founded by Zander Whitehurst in 2020. We’re growing supafast and are now a remote team of 50 around the world.

About the role

Memorisely is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic UX Researcher based in the Americas (or an American-friendly time zone) to join our remote education team. In this role, you’ll work in a remote UX Research teaching team to upskill designers worldwide live in Figma classes. This part-time role is perfect for UX Researchers passionate about sharing their knowledge and confidence in planning, conducting, synthesizing, and delivering research reports. Our UX Research teaching role is part-time and the perfect side hustle with 3hrs commitment a week

The ideal candidate

• 3-5 years experience as a UX Researcher
• Loves collaborating in a team
• Confident in teaching best UX Research practices in tools like Dovetail
• A kind human who emits positive energy and cares about the design community
• Can commit 3hrs a week to educating at Memorisely
• Prior experience teaching or mentoring in a related field is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Delivering classes aligned with Memorisely’s teaching methodology
• Leading classroom discussions and providing async and live feedback
• Assigning and supervising UX Research case studies
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements
• Share your knowledge with people around the world by co-hosting virtual and in-person events and creating authentic tutorials for socials
• Be a huge advocate of Memorisely and having a passion for sharing your knowledge!
