The Role

As our Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that we bring exceptional talent on board. Your work will be pivotal in shaping the future of Leya as we aim to become the leading personalized coaching application. You’ll be part of a small, fast-paced team where agility and innovation are the norms. Our hierarchy is as flat as a pancake, so you will work directly with the founders and other founding teammates! 

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate the Full Talent Acquisition Funnel: own the full talent process from setting up acquisition pipelines, running the ad campaigns, shortlisting and outreaching candidates, booking and conducting the first meetings, and evaluating performance. 
  • Build and Optimize Inbound Talent Acquisition Workflows:Develop and refine inbound talent acquisition workflows, ensuring they are efficient and effective. Craft job descriptions, coordinate job ad placements, review resumes and contact candidates.
  • Build and Optimize Outbound Talent Acquisition Workflows:Craft ideal candidate profiles, build methods to shortlist and qualify possible candidates on various platforms (LinkedIn, GitHub, etc.), and sell the idea of joining Leya AI to shortlisted candidates. 
  • Use ATS (applicant tracking systems) to analyze and improve processes: Continuously monitor recruitment funnel and flow metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance your talent evaluation, sourcing and acquisition processes.
  • Collaborate Closely: Work alongside our team members to align recruitment efforts for each role. Get feedback and collect learnings, and based on them, improve inbound and outbound workflows.
  • Conduct Screening Interviews: conduct the initial screening “coffee-chat” interviews with qualified candidates to get to know them better. You will be the decision maker who decides which candidates go through screening interviews to hiring manager interviews.
  • Bring New Ideas To the Table: brainstorm and bring new ideas to Leya that would let us attract top tier talent – from simple blog posts to crazy PR campaigns. 

Qualifications:

  • Experience designing and optimizing outbound or inbound talent acquisition or lead generation workflows – can be even a school project!
  • Analytical skills – ability to plan and implement processes, analyze their results and improve based on learnings. Loop it, and do it again. 
  • You’re able to read the room – excellent interpersonal, psychological and communication skills.
  • An ability to extract quantitative insights from qualitative workflows to make data-driven decisions.

Advantages:

  • 1+ years of experience working as a Talent Acquisition Partner or a similar role – definitely an advantage but not mandatory! 
  • Experience conducting screening interviews for engineering, data, and design roles. 
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, other recruitment tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, TeamTailor)
  • Experience with outbound tactics / cold reachout
