Internship Details:

  • Start Date: June 2, 2025
  • End Date: July 25, 2025 (8 weeks)
  • Hours: 20 hours per week (at least 5 hours within 9 AM–5 PM ET)
  • Compensation: $20/hour

What You’ll Do:

  • Gain hands-on experience in curriculum development at Hello World CS.
  • Contribute meaningfully to interdisciplinary modules, including AI Literacy content.
  • Collaborate on programming interactive learning widgets using HTML/CSS/JS
  • Review existing curriculum content and provide feedback.
  • Collaborate with Curriculum Team members and attend team meetings and check-ins.

Who You Are:

  • A current college student studying Computer Science or Education with computer science experience.
  • Have experience using 
  • Passionate about K-12 education and edTech.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Available to work 20 hours per week, with at least half of those hours within standard ET working hours.

Hiring Process

  1. Application
    Submit your application through our LinkedIn job posting. We’ll carefully review all submissions to identify top candidates whose skills and experiences align with the role.
  2. Sample Work
    Selected candidates will be invited to complete a brief sample task to showcase their skills and approach to curriculum development. This will involve creating 2–3 slides to explain the concept of an LLM to a 6th-grade audience, focusing on making the concept accessible and engaging for young learners.
  3. 30-Minute Interview
    Candidates who move forward will participate in a 30-minute interview with our Director of Curriculum or Curriculum Product Manager, giving us the opportunity to learn more about your expertise and answer your questions.
