Job Description

Getro is a quickly scaling start-up building branded job boards and talent networks for venture capital funds and startup accelerators across the world. Customers use our platform to save time when making high-value introductions between portfolio companies and professionals in their networks.

The Role:

We’re looking for a seasoned Sr. Account Executive to join our early-stage, fast-growing team. We’re at a pivotal point in the company with the successful launch of our second product, and recent traction into new markets. We need someone who can come in, quickly get up to speed on our products, and close deals. 

Responsibilities:

  • Own inbound pipeline from demo through contract signature and transition to onboarding team 
  • Achieve sales goals by articulating the company’s value proposition to technical and white-glove customers across multiple industries
  • Be an expert and contribute to every component of fulfilling the sales cycle (forecasting, reporting, customer database maintenance, etc.)
  • Responsible for hitting sales metrics of success as well as providing timely and accurate forecasts and clear visibility into revenue performance.
  • Brainstorm and execute outbound sales strategies 
  • Proactively report on learnings and valuable feedback to the product team so that we can improve the product and prioritize the right projects.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of our product and understand the nuances of how it can be used so that you’re able to support prospects accordingly.

Core Competencies and Accomplishments:

  • Proven experience managing 45+ open opportunities at one time
  • Ability to understand complex technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple products
  • Minimum 3-5 years of quota-carrying, SaaS deal-closing experience as a top performer 
  • Self-starter who brings solutions to the table – has owned your pipeline and isn’t afraid to prospect new leads
  • Superior communication and presentation skills
  • Sense of entrepreneurship: a self-starter with a high sense of urgency and ability to work within undefined processes
  • Experience with Hubspot
  • Required: Located in EST time zone
