We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior Content Writer & editor to join our dynamic nonprofit team. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating compelling long-form content, editing books, and producing persuasive case studies and op-ed pieces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Long-Form Content Creation: Develop and write high-quality, informative, and engaging long-form content, including reports, guides, and whitepapers.
• Book Editing: Edit manuscripts for clarity, coherence, and alignment with our organization’s objectives and tone.
• Case Study Development: Craft compelling case studies that showcase our impact and illustrate the importance of our work.
• Op-Ed Writing: Write persuasive op-ed pieces for various publications, articulating our stance on key issues and advocating for our causes.
• Research & Technical Writing: Conduct thorough research on relevant topics and translate complex information into accessible and engaging content.
• Collaboration & Strategy: Work closely with our communications and advocacy teams to develop content strategies that support our goals.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all content is factually accurate, well-written, and adheres to our style guide.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in content writing and editing, with a proven track record in long-form content, nonfiction book editing, and opinion writing.

Skills:

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to translate technical content into engaging and persuasive narratives.
• Strong research skills including using AI and attention to detail.
• Ability to leverage Generative AI to deliver a high volume of high quality content.
• Proficiency in content management systems and SEO best practices.

Working Hours : 40 hours per week
