Job Description

Role: Organic Growth Lead

£42K-£47K

What You’ll Do

  • Own client relationships. Lead 6 accounts as the main point of contact. Run strategy calls, respond to updates, be responsive to their needs, and build long-term partnerships with CMOs, heads of marketing, and founders.
  • Design bespoke strategies. Onboard new clients and create tailored SEO and content growth plans, rooted in business goals. Turn strategies into detailed roadmaps, timelines, and priorities.
  • Drive outcomes. You’ll focus on what matters: pipeline, conversions, and retention. You’ll prioritize actions that drive clear ROI, and iterate based on what’s working.
  • Coordinate execution. You won’t write blog posts or earn backlinks—but you’ll brief, review, and QA everything delivered under your strategy. You’ll lead, manage and coordinate internal resources to execute well.
  • Own reporting and attribution. Use analytics, dashboards, and data storytelling to show results. Help clients understand where growth is coming from and where to invest next.
  • Experiment and evolve. Explore CRO tests, new tools, emerging SEO plays, and evolving content formats. Stay ahead of what’s changing in search and user behavior. You’ll be expected to hustle for your clients, like a founder would.
  • Mentor and document. Help improve internal processes, shape our playbooks, and manage and support a junior team’s growth over time.

Experience level

  • ~5+ years in SEO
  • Proven successes achieving revenue and traffic results for clients.
  • Worked heavily (~3 years) with B2B SaaS clients or in-house

Skills we are looking for

  • Client Communication & Relationship Management. You know how to build trust, manage expectations, and coach clients on complex topics.
  • Strategic SEO Thinking. You can create a roadmap that aligns with business goals, diagnose performance issues, and prioritize actions that move the needle.
  • Content Strategy Development. You understand how to turn business objectives into content plans that drive traffic, rankings, and conversions.
  • Technical SEO Competence. You’re able to spot technical issues, assess their impact, and work with developers to get them fixed. (You also know what doesn’t matter that much and how to prioritize)
  • Analytics & Attribution. You’re fluent in GA4, GSC, and Looker Studio — and can translate data into insights that show the impact of your work.
  • Project & Time Management. You can juggle multiple accounts, meet deadlines, and coordinate smoothly with writers, editors, and link partners.
  • Briefing & QA. You write clear briefs, give direct and honest feedback, and ensure everything that ships reflects high standards.
  • Clear Communication & Executive Presence. You can lead calls with marketing leaders and explain your strategy in language that resonates at every level.
  • Experimentation Mindset. You’re curious, creative, and always testing smarter, more effective ways to deliver client value.
  • Founder-Level Ownership. You don’t wait to be told what to do. You spot issues, take initiative, and care deeply about quality and results.

IMPORTANT:

  • We are an async team and live all over the world, so your async/remote work skills must be top tier:
    • You’re self motivated to keep progressing and achieving success.
    • You keep your team and manager updated proactively.
    • You communicate clearly and freely when facing a challenge or unsure what to do with a client.
    • You proactively ask for your needs to be met. For example, feeling burnt out? Ask for a day off. Overloaded with work? Let us know and we’ll support you. Without seeing you around the office it can be more challenging to notice these things, so we expect a high level of speaking up for yourself.
    • You are well-experienced with Slack and willing to turn up daily and use it.
