Job Description

Hi there! I’m Chris, the founder of Sourcing Sprints. We help US-based startup founders make their first hires in engineering, product, design, marketing, or sales.

We have a team of 40+ people based in Lagos, Nigeria, but we source candidates from all over the world. Most of the roles we work on are either focused on startup hubs like SFBA or NYC or are remote / distributed.

We’re for-profit with an impact-focused mission. In addition to our core agency work, we also run free training programs to make it easier for talent in Nigeria to find high paid, remote jobs.

Our team has doubled in size over the last year and we need help systematizing our internal admin and operations.This role is a mix of people ops, program management, and executive assistance.

  • Location: Remote-first but based in Lagos. The team comes into the office one day per week (Lekki Phase 1)
  • Pay: $500 – $700 / month commensurate with prior experience
  • Benefits: data stipend, commuting stipend, healthcare, kindle (e-reader), and a work laptop (Macbook).
  • Commitment: Full-time

About the Role

As our team has grown, we’ve needed extra support across people ops, program management, and executive assistance. Responsibilities include:

  • People Ops: coordinate our intern program and sourcing camp recruitment. Coordinate onboarding admin. Track employee milestones. Help organize our yearly onsite + offsite and support team-building initiatives.
  • Program Management: take lead on planning and communication for our yearly training program, Sourcing Camp. Support our impact programs.
  • Exec assistance / office management: help with things like reimbursements or adding people to health insurance. Coordinate weekly office lunch, supply restocking, and laptop ordering / repair.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Extremely organized with very high attention to detail
  • Tech-savvy. Quick learner who enjoys figuring things out
  • Curious about people, hiring, and how companies grow
  • A data-driven problem solver with strong analytical skills
  • A great communicator with great writing skills

Applicants should highlight any prior experience in startups, consulting, or people ops. However, for this role we care less about your prior experience and more about your skills and aptitude. People who clearly demonstrate their tech savvy, organization, and communication will stand out.
