Job Description

To successfully implement and support all HR modules for new and existing Customers on PaySpace by analysing the client’s requirements, configuring the system, develop client specific training material and supporting them during go-live. This role is responsible for HR implementations of all size companies. The HR Implementations Consultant is also responsible for the improvement of the HR modules whether it be based on best practices or legislation.

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensures customer excellence 

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with customer base.
  • Lives the company’s values and service standards with regards to customer interaction.
  • Adheres to business processes and systems to meet the company’s quality requirements

  • Adheres to the companies work standards.

  • Understand their role within the organisation from an information security perspective and commit to protecting the organisation’s security information assets.

  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Prepare personal development plans in conjunction with Manager and implement in line with business requirements.
  • Ensures teamwork to achieve shared goals.


When referring to HR Modules, the following modules are in scope:

  • Performance Management
  • Recruitment
  • Workforce Planning
  • Incident Management
  • Training, Skills, Qualifications
  • Position and Job Management
  • Equity
  • Base HR

HR Implementations

  • Analyse client requirements by means of workshops/questionnaires/meetings
  • Document client requirements for sign-off
  • Configure system according to the client’s requirements
  • Migrate data from client’s current system to new system if required
  • HR Consulting
  • Assist existing Customers with support and advise to improve on their HR processes

General Duties

  • Stay updated with the latest HR legislation and ensure the system is up to date
  • Stay updated with the latest best practices in the various HR processes and ensure the system can cater for these processes
  • Continuously look for ways to improve the HR modules to cater for different setups
  • Be able to configure customised Analytics reports
  • Build a demo company with data on all HR modules and keep it updated in order to use for sales demo’s
  • Inform sales of latest system changes
  • Train junior consultants on the principles of each module

System Testing

  • Test new system functionality by following the prescribed testing procedures


  • Full knowledge of HR legislation
  • At least 8 years’ experience in human resources processes and consulting
  • At least 3 years’ BI experience (preferably Qlikview)
  • Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite i.e. Excel, Word etc
  • Creative and innovative
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply basic concepts in new situations
  • Strong Analytical abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills
