We seek a highly organised and detail-oriented HR Operations and Systems Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will manage the smooth operation of HR systems and processes, ensure data integrity, and work closely with HR leadership to improve efficiency through technology. The ideal candidate will have a blend of HR operational expertise, a strong technical background in HR systems, and a passion for process optimisation.

Take ownership by:
HR Systems Management:
- Serve as the primary administrator for the HRIS and other HR-related systems (e.g., Manage Asana, Personio, Notion, Dropbox sign, Figures HR, Process Street, Doozy, Geekbot, Typeform).
- Manage system configuration, troubleshooting, and upgrades to meet the evolving needs of the HR team and the organisation.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all HR platforms.
- Assist in managing employee and contractor requests, such as time-off requests or benefits administration.
- Support the HR team in implementing and maintaining HR policies and procedures.
Process Optimization:
- Review and improve HR operational processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
- Collaborate with the HR team to identify opportunities for automation and develop solutions to streamline manual tasks.
Data Management & Reporting:
- Ensure accurate and consistent data management within the HR systems, including maintaining employee records, job changes, compensation updates, and benefits information.
- Partner with HR leadership to support strategic initiatives, such as system upgrades, process improvements, and the implementation of new technology solutions.
- Maintain and update the employee handbook as necessary.
Employee Lifecycle Support:
- Oversee the HRIS-related tasks for the full employee lifecycle, including new hire onboarding, role changes, and offboarding.
- Manage the onboarding experience for new employees. (The process and related systems.)
- Partner with HR colleagues to ensure seamless data integration between systems during key HR processes, such as performance management, payroll, and benefits.
Compliance & Legal:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Support with management of EoR, Contracts, NDAs, visa and relocation.
Job requirements
This challenge will suit you if:
- You can work a minimum of 20 hours per week. This role offers 20 to 24 hours per week as a standard.
- At least 3+ years of experience in HR operations or related fields.
- Strong working knowledge of HRIS systems (e.g., Asana, Personio, Notion, Dropbox sign, Figures HR, Process Street, Doozy, Geekbot, Typeform or other similar programs.)
- Solid understanding of HR policies, labour laws, and compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and operational best practices, including payroll, benefits, and compliance.
- Proficiency in data management, reporting, and analytics within HR systems.
- Familiarity with HR-related compliance requirements, including data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- A proactive and resourceful problem-solver with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in the Dutch language is a bonus
