Memorisely is an online Product Design School educating career switchers and product teams in 150+ countries. Our mission is to make learning UX/UI Design accessible and enjoyable with live bootcamps and on-demand video lessons. Memorisely is fully bootstrapped and was founded by Zander Whitehurst in 2020. We’re growing supafast and are now a remote team of 50 worldwide.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Design System Educator to share their knowledge in live classes. In this role, you’ll work in a remote Design System teaching team to upskill designers around the world live in Figma classes. This part-time role is perfect for folks who work in a Product team or Agency and can share their experience designing and scaling a Design System. Our teaching role is part-time and the perfect side hustle with 3hrs commitment a week.

The ideal candidate:

• Experience designing and scaling a Design Systems.
• Loves collaborating in a team.
• Confident in teaching best Design System practices in Figma.
• A kind human who emits positive energy and cares about the design community.
• Can commit 3hrs a week to educating at Memorisely.
• Prior experience teaching or mentoring in a related field is a bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering classes aligned with Memorisely’s teaching methodology
• Leading classroom discussions and providing async and live feedback.
• Assigning and supervising Design System case studies.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
• Share your knowledge with people around the world by co-hosting virtual and in-person events and creating authentic tutorials for socials.
• Be an advocate of Memorisely and have a passion for sharing your knowledge!
