About the role
As a Content Writer with Marketing Skills at CareerBuddy, you will play a pivotal role in crafting content that not only informs and engages our target audience but also supports our overall marketing strategy. You will be responsible for producing a wide range of content types, including blog posts, social media updates, email campaigns, website copy, and more. Your ability to blend excellent/creative writing skills with a solid understanding of marketing principles will be crucial to your success in this role.
Compensation: N100,000 – N150,000

- Infuse a great sense of humor into your writing when appropriate, making our content enjoyable and relatable for our audience.
- Take ownership of content projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time and meet the desired quality standards.
- Effective in a remote team, collaborate with other team members, including designers, marketers, and subject matter experts, to gather information and create compelling content.
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitors, and target audience preferences to inform your content strategy.
- Review and edit your work for accuracy, clarity, and grammar, ensuring that all content is error-free and polished.

What should you have done in your career?
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Liberal Arts, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a content writer or copywriter, preferably with marketing experience.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and email marketing platforms.
- Proficiency in using social media for marketing purposes.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
