Her Campus Media founders Stephanie Kaplan Lewis, Annie Wang, and Windsor Western met as Harvard undergrads while running a student publication for women on campus. The publication soared in popularity with college women across the country, who began asking for advice on starting something like it at their own schools. Stephanie, Annie, and Windsor had the idea to build something similar on a national level to serve college women everywhere, and in 2009 they won Harvard’s business plan competition with their vision for Her Campus Media. They’ve been building the company into the number one media and marketing ecosystem for college women ever since.
